Ross Alumni Club of Minnesota STEPHEN M. ROSS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Adopt-A-River Earth Day Volunteer Activity

The Ross School of Business Alumni Club of the Twin Cities will be joining the Carlson alumni club to help clean up an area along the Mississippi river in Minneapolis. This area of the river was used as a staging area for rescue and recovery efforts when the 35W Bridge collapsed.  As a result, this area can really use our help!  We may also get lunch afterwards if people are interested, probably nearby in Dinkytown.

Event Date: Saturday, April 19, 2008

Event Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm (lunch afterwards if interested)

Location: East River Flats Park, 800 E. River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN  55414

Details: Volunteers should dress appropriately for conditions - rain, snow, or sun.  Wear sturdy shoes, sun protection and a hat. Bags and Gloves will be provided. This cleanup is recommended for anyone over the age of 17, and children under age 17 with proper adult supervision (one to one supervision for all children under the age of 11). Please note, all participants will be asked to sign a safety waiver.
